There are a lot of types of blinds that come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and materials that they are produced from, but only one of the main types of blinds can give you the tropical luxurious or exotic Asian appeal, and that type are bamboo blinds. For the most part the bamboo blind is generally considered inexpensive, and you often don’t have to search far to find a reputable dealer to help you with your next remodel or redecoration.
Bamboo blinds are manufactured by using the bamboo tree that typically grows in Japan and other Asian countries, and although they go perfectly with that type of landscape and environment, they look just as well in homes across America and other countries that are looking for the lush feel that bamboo provides. For the most part, these blinds aren’t really going to provide you the complete light block
ing that you are thinking of, but will instead allow certain amounts of light through, so most people consider them shades instead of full on blinds. Before you hang these blinds up, you need to make sure that the sun isn’t going to be blasting through them into your room, if you are trying to completely black the room out.
When you are beginning to look for a set of quality cheap bamboo blinds, you are going to find that there are a couple of different models that are being marketed to you. One of the types of bamboo blinds that contain rollers inside of them to help you raise and lower them smoothly are called bamboo roller blinds, and the second type contains flat pieces of wood that have holes in the ends of them for the drawstrings you can use to raise and lower the slats. With the string type blinds, the slats will fold up with themselves as you pull the string. The second type is known as bamboo roman blinds signified by the folding up like a roman blind.
There are also self rolling blinds commonly known as bamboo roll up blinds. These blinds roll up from the bottom as the string is pulled. A variation of this is the bamboo outdoor blinds that can be rolled up by hand. These are popular outdoors because they are so cheap due to have basically no moving parts.
